John Bobek hails from a corner of Wisconsin so rife with cheese, beer, and good people that even he wonders how on earth he ever found the motivation to leave for California. After completing a degree in Theatre Arts at Marquette University under Phylis Ravel, he spent a summer of intense camera study at various places in LA. Now John bides his time between acting for stage and screen and performing throughout Southern California as a singer/songwriter, both in solo shows and with his much-loved indie folk band, General Pow.
